RADICISPANDEX ANNOUNCES SENIOR MANAGEMENT CHANGES
MARTY MORAN PROMOTED TO CEO;
ROB REBELLO JOINS RADICISPANDEX BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Gastonia, NC, February 21, 2007 --- RadiciSpandex Corp. announces that effective February 28, Global Sales Manager Marty Moran will be promoted to CEO of RadiciSpandex Corp. and CEO Rob Rebello will transition from his current post to a position on the Company’s board of directors. The changes follow a decision by Rebello to pursue an entrepreneurial opportunity heading up a new U.S. operation for an Italian firm.
“On behalf of The Radici Group, I am very pleased that Rob Rebello can accept such an exciting career opportunity and still provide RadiciSpandex the benefit of his expertise through an ongoing role as a Radici director,” said Luciano Radici, Regional Director - Americas at The Radici Group. “Marty Moran has proven to be a valuable player on the Radici Group team and has demonstrated excellent leadership skills that will maintain and expand the competitive position of RadiciSpandex in the global elastane market.”
Moran’s elevation to CEO comes little more than a year after his promotion to Global Sales Manager overseeing all sales and marketing activities for the company. Moran’s experience reflects more than 13 years of proven sales growth in the global textile and nonwoven fabric markets. In recent years he was responsible for RadiciSpandex’s largest customer accounts and spearheaded the Company’s successful business efforts in the nonwoven, heavy denier and Central American markets, resulting in an additional ten percent market growth for the company.
