 Santoni spa, is pleased to launch the Outdoor Retailer Show’s first Seamless Apparel Manufacturers Village January 23-26, 2008 in room 151 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. This interactive village will feature an all encompassing display of Santoni’s latest technology in seamless kitting equipment, innovation in yarns and fibers through Nilit America and Regal/Worldtex, and apparel items of seamless apparel producers, Dreamworks Knitting, Intimo Industry and Nouvelle Seamless. Models will also be displaying the variety of garments available throughout the exhibit. Seamless technology in fact offers the apparel industry more options than ever before through its versatility in construction and fit; therefore, experience the creativity that goes beyond the boundaries. The newest issue of the Journal of Textile and Apparel, Technology and Management (JTATM), is available (http://www.tx.ncsu.edu/jtatm). This issue's theme is "The North Carolina Textiles Complex" highlights the North Carolina industry, educational programs, and the many collaborations that the North Carolina textile complex has with associations, government, and academic community. This issue includes textile-related research papers as well as the industry and education articles. In addition, information about education programs as well as information about NC State's College of Textiles' programs are included.
The goal of The Journal of Textile and Apparel Technology and Management (JTATM) is to present the latest in theoretical and empirical research in the field of textiles and apparel, technology and management to an global audience comprised of academicians, industry executives, and consultants. The Journal (JTATM) offers new information for industry personnel, academics and students who are interested in the technology and management of fiber based products, as well as the environment and markets in which textile and apparel companies operate and evolve.
Each issue of the quarterly JTATM contains research articles, as well as information about new innovations and useful linkages. JTATM is coordinated by the Department of Textile and Apparel, Technology and Management, College of Textiles, North Carolina State University. We invite you to visit and register for JTATM and submit articles for consideration in future issues.

Due to the intensifying crisis of global ethylene glycol supply, the market price of this key polyester raw material continues to advance beyond expectations.
As a result of the additional cost of ethylene glycol, DAK Americas will increase prices for all polyester staple fiber products.
Effective December 15, 2007, DAK Americas will increase polyester staple fiber prices by $0.04 per pound.
