They’re baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack.

Cosmos, stilettos, flamboyant ensembles, and yes, eye-catching hosiery. And of course, the four fabulous ladies: Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha.

They all debut this May 30 with the much anticipated “Sex and the City: The Movie” and from the trailers and photos released to tease the audience……yes, there are exciting hosiery fashions to accent those sky-high shoes.

The movie promises to be full of fashion and fun but what if Hosiery Insider had a little fun with matching the personalities to the actual product?

Carrie – She the style-setter so expect color, color and more color! And patterns. Carrie would look just as stylish in big colored socks as she would in fantastically hued sheers. We expect (and count on!) many fashion changes in the movie.

Miranda – She’s the serious minded one so expect straightforward but still fashionable hosiery for this lawyer. One can almost picture her in a robe and Steve’s socks reading the New York Times in her Brooklyn brownstone.

Charlotte – She’s the traditionalist. She’s also a mom. Hosiery Insider would not be surprised to see Charlotte and her little girl in matching outfits straight down to their matching tights and socks.

Samantha – She’s the…well you know who she is. She will have the sexiest of hosiery….think sheers, fishnets and shapewear. All in outrageous style!

There’s even more of a connection between Sex and the City and women’s hosiery and undergarments. Premier intimate apparel line Cosabella created a line of garments inspired by Sex and the City. The items can be bought on HBO’s web site.

So in the words of Carrie Bradshaw…..be fabulous!
