Scott Quesenberry, Chief Textile Negotiator for the United States Trade Representative (USTR) and Matt Priest, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Textiles and Apparel (DOC) have agreed to speak with Dr. Nancy Cassill, Interim Department Head Textile and Apparel Technology and Management College of TextilesNorth Carolina State University at the 2008 Annual Convention at The Homestead in Hot Springs, VA. Upon popular demand, Marshal Cohen, Chief Industry Analyst of The NPD Group, will be returning. Additional guest speakers are currently being scheduled.

--------Hotel Reservations--------------------------------------------------------------

You may go ahead and make your hotel reservations using the Hotel Reservation Request Form. The THA Group Room Rate is $179/night for single or double occupancy plus resort service fee and taxes. Reservation deadline is March 16, 2008. With The Homestead being in a somewhat remote location, reservations need to be made early to ensure that as a convention attendee, accommodations will be available.
